Ryan began competing in air pistol competitions at the age of 10 through Michigan State University's Demmer Center. His passion for shooting expanded into rifle and pistol competitions as part of the Scholastic Action Shooting Program, where he earned several state awards. He later discovered shotgun sports when his local high school launched a trap team. As a member of the team, Ryan won multiple state titles in both trap and skeet.
In 2021, Ryan attended an International Trap introductory course at the John A. Halter Shooting Sports Education Center at Hillsdale College. It was there that he found his true passion for International Trap shooting and decided to make it his primary focus.
Ryan joined the Fudd Dusters Shotgun Sporting Team in 2022, where he competed in American Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, and International Trap. During his time with the Fudd Dusters, he earned numerous individual and team awards. Notably, Ryan was crowned the SCTP 2024 International Trap Champion and earned a spot on the SCTP International Team.
Ryan currently attends Schreiner University in Texas where he studies mechanical engineering and is a member of the shotgun team. He is thrilled to be part of the Junior National Team and aspires to represent his country in international competitions. Ryan’s ultimate goal is to make the USA Shooting National Team and compete in the Olympics.
